We at Falling Whistles think that Good Magazine is pretty stinkin’ brilliant. If you already have a subscription, you know what we’re talking about. If you don’t, here’s a chance to win one.

Every month Good Magazine has a crowdsourced Picture Show. This month the project is entitled “Take a Picture of Someone You Admire.”  As they put it, “Who do you admire? Maybe it’s a mentor, coach, teacher, or parent. Maybe a friend or a boss. Or maybe this person has no idea you even exist. That’s okay. This is your chance to recognize someone who deserves it on the world wide web.”

Not a bad idea, eh? Maybe we all should spend a bit of time thinking about those we admire. Why do we admire them? What qualities and characteristics to they possess? Are these things we all can emulate? I’m not a psych major, but I can tell you that positive thinking and goal setting are two elements of a healthy existence. So, take a lesson or two from the people you admire most…take some photos too.
